Our Board of Directors

Kim Rainer

President

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Kim Rainer is a lifelong animal advocate and is passionate about educating the community on the benefits of spay & neuter. She focuses her time with FOTECAS on transports and special events. Kim works for all the animals but is particularly taken by the old timers and the quirky pets that need special attention. She also enjoys photography, the beach, and spending time with her two pooches, Murray and Mae.

Michelle Hoffman

Vice President

Michelle Hoffman lives in Pace, FL with her husband, Doug, and her 4 dogs, Bear, Roxxie, Glory, and Dexter. She has a soft spot for the bully breeds. When not working on transports and with the animals at the shelter, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Jessie Whittle

Secretary

Jessica (Jessie) Whittle is a native of Pensacola, currently living in Milton with her husband, David, their three dogs and four cats, and a variable number of fosters. She has always loved and advocated for animals, and has been actively involved in rescue since 2017. Her soft spot is for the hissy/spitty kitties who need a little extra patience and socialization before they take their next step on their journey. When she isn't taming foster cats, she can be found enjoying photography, making pottery, reading, and working as a legal assistant.

Rose Lockhart

Treasurer

Rose Lockhart is a native Pensacolian and has one son. She has always had pets but it wasn't until 2012 that she became passionate about rescue when she adopted her first pitbull from a local rescue. After adopting Roscoe, Rose added her second bully, Paige, to the family. Roscoe & Paige live in harmony with Rose's rescue cat, Daisy. When she isn't working or organizing fundraisers for FOTECAS, Rose enjoys reading.

Sarabeth Gordon

Big Fix Chair

Sarabeth Gordon is a native of Pensacola, though she has lived in many other places. Since returning to the area, she and her husband have adopted and fostered many dogs for a German shepherd rescue and FOTECAS. She is a mother to seven: 3 children and 4 dogs. She'd love to have a cat, but many of her family members are allergic. When she's not volunteering with FOTECAS, she's messing around with math, engineering, science, and stuff.
